About Berty's
Run by husband & wife team James & Georgia Nixon, Berty's of Bakewell is the culmination of our experience working in some of the beautiful Peak District's destination pubs, restaurants & cafes.

Named after our dog, the ethos behind Berty's is to serve some of the best coffee in the area, with delicious pastries lovingly baked fresh every morning.

With a charming courtyard to enjoy on sunny days and a welcoming upstairs dining area, Berty's is the perfect resting point during a day exploring all Bakewell has to offer.

And after a long day wandering the streets of Bakewell, pop in for a delicious sourdough pizza to enjoy in our cosy dining room or take with you down to the river to enjoy the evening sun.

Proudly serving the multiple Great Taste Award winning Deer Hill blend, which balances bold flavour with sweet
chocolate and hazelnut in the cup that works beautifully across all the coffee options available on our menu.
